Description

A group of companies specialized in hospitality management that offers hotel management, sales, and marketing service to third party hotel owners and hotel asset management.
The company also owns and operates selected hotel properties in Mexico and the Caribbean and is recognized as a leader in the industry that constantly improves the 'All inclusive' concept.

Responsible for the commercial relationship with the Company's clients, as well as for the development of new business opportunities in Mexico.
This executive leads the definition and implementation of the commercial and marketing strategy, provides direction and coordinates the commercial and marketing activities guided towards the successful implementation of different sales programs focused to diverse markets the administration of specific projects and the sales force.
Prospect multinationals and local corporations that have business opportunities for properties focusing on specific target accounts requested by the hotels and current key accounts, based on accepted agreements and production out of the US
Plan, execute, and attend industry tradeshows, conventions, association events, and sales trips to visit target/key accounts on a monthly basis
Set up adequate action plans to ensure brand awareness and acceptance of hotels into global hotel programs
Support the properties. Submit proposals, negotiate rates with multinationals and corporations
Confirm and ensure proper rate loading of accepted agreements
Indentify the corporation travel agencies.
Conduct agency and corporate presentations, sales calls, and meetings in order to develop the best product knowledge and improve and maintain an excellent relationship.
Monitor the performance of each accepted account to ensure that the estimated production is being achieved in a monthly basis.
Develop partnerships with travel partners in related industries, such as airlines and tourism offices, to promote destinations via familiarization trips
Organize road shows and client events and invite properties to participate
Work closely with the property sales departments and the corporate office in Miami to accurately track production from key accounts
Work closely with the key accounts managers in designated region to increase product awareness
Prepare monthly report on business trips, sales actions, and achievements.
Prepare travel expense reports, monthly production reports, and yearly action plan.
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by VP Sales & Marketing.


Requirements

Candidate must possess 5 years of hotel sales experience
Proven track record in the hospitality field is a must
Extensive knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Additional tools
Excellent communication and leadership skills are required
Initiative and resourcefulness in developing methods for increasing market share, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and in the application of effective methodologies to resolve issues and challenges
Indentifies challenges and makes recommendations for continuous improvement
Makes independent decisions relating to solicitation methods, and management of accounts.
